Man arrested for trying to "recycle" stolen goods

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (KAIT) –  A Region 8 man accused of trying to recycle stolen goods winds up behind bars.

On Thursday, Baxter County sheriff's deputies arrested 54-year-old Darryl Bullock of Briarcliff.  He's accused of stealing items from a home and a Lakeview business then trying to sell them at a local salvage and recycling business.

The victim said they were contacted by the salvage yard after a wallet was found in the items.

Bullock is charged with a Class C Felony Theft of Property and Class A Misdemeanor Theft of Property.

He's being held on a $10,000 bond in the Baxter County Detention Center.  He's due in Circuit Court on May 19.
