Tricia Driver and Caleb Dudley named Williams Baptist Champions of Character

WALNUT RIDGE, AR (WBC) - The Williams Baptist College athletic department has presented its 2011 Champions of Character Awards to Tricia Driver and Caleb Dudley. The awards were presented in conjunction with the NAIA's Champions of Character initiative.

Driver, a junior from Montgomery, Tex., plays softball for WBC. She is a finance major, and she is the daughter of Steven and Kimberly Driver.

Dudley, a senior baseball player, lives at Walnut Ridge and is originally from Lebanon, Mo. He majored in social studies education. He is married to Lyndsey Dudley, and he is the son of Paul and Mary Dudley of Lebanon.

Driver and Dudley, who graduated from WBC May 7th, were chosen by coaches at Williams as student-athletes who exemplify all the qualities of the Champions of Character program. The five core character values of the program are respect, responsibility, integrity, servant leadership and sportsmanship.

They were selected for the Champions of Character honors from over 100 varsity athletes at WBC.

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge.
