NEWPORT, AR (KAIT) – A gun call ends with three people in jail for drugs and funny money.
On Wednesday, May 5, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of two people with guns. When officers arrived at the home they found Bryan Colby Chappell of Texarkana and Kimberly Catherine Saylors of Clinton, Arkansas. According to the deputies report, a search of their car turned up methamphetamine, marijuana, ecstasy, drug paraphernalia and $27,800 in counterfeit cash.
Upon further investigation, deputies arrested Larry Anthony George of Swifton.
Chappell is charged with possession of drugs and first-degree forgery.
George is also charged with possession of meth and forgery.
Saylors was charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
