JETS offering kids cheap summer rides

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Getting to the pool this summer should be a little cheaper for Jonesboro kids.

The Jonesboro Economical Transit System (JETS) announced Wednesday its "Summer Youth Discounted Fare Program."

It begins the day after Memorial Day and ends the day before Labor Day.  During that time children between the ages of 12 and 18 can ride a JETS bus for just 25-cents a trip.  A summer long pass, including unlimited daily travel, is available for $20.

To qualify, children must present a valid school-issued picture ID.

For more information, contact the JETS office at 935-5387.
