Job Link Monday

If you are looking for a new job or career path, then we may be able to help. Today begins Job Link Monday right here on KAIT. Representatives from Productive Staffing, Ascent Children's Health Services, and Abilities Unlimited will be on hand to talk to anyone about the openings that they have available. Job Link Monday kicks off during Region 8 News at 5 and 6 later today.

New Dangers from ‘Huffing'

Tonight on Region 8 News at 10, Josh Harvison brings information of a new twist on an old practice of getting high, commonly referred to as 'huffing'.  Huffing involves inhaling some form of a chemical intoxicant that is found around a typical household - like glue, spray paint, etc.  Now, a new form of huffing is growing, even right here in Region 8. Abusers are now raiding the freon in home air conditioning units to use as a huffing agent. Watch this special report tonight to learn how you can protect you own units from being robbed of costly freon.

What will someone have to replace in his or her home when the flood water goes down? Brandi Hodges follows a carpenter and electrician to find out what will have to be replaced tonight on Region 8 News at 5 and 6.

A group of residents in Marked Tree are working to implement a new program for teenagers. Tonight at 6 and 10, Josh Harvison will explain what the program is, why it's needed, and when the program will begin.
