POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) – Crooks on a late-night snack attack did about $8,000 worth of damage to a grocery store and now investigators need your help solving the case.
On Sunday Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies responded to a burglary call at McLeod's Grocery Store in Imboden.
Deputies say the crooks broke the front door to gain entry. Once inside they stole items ranging from cigarettes and flashlights to cash. The break-in happened sometime between the store's closing at midnight and the following morning.
J&P Flash Market owns the store. It's offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. If you have any information that can help deputies find the culprits, call the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department at 870-886-2525.
