BRTC students "booking it" to WBC

WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) – Students from Black River Technical College in Pocahontas will be booking it this summer to Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge.

The BRTC library was severely damaged in the recent floods.  At one point, the college campus was surrounded by water.  The library will be closed this summer while crews work to clean it up and Williams Baptist has agreed to help.  WBC's Felix Goodson Library will provide full services to BRTC through the summer terms.

"Because of the recent flood, BRTC's library community has a need that the Felix Goodson Library can meet," said Pamela Meridith, director of library services at Williams.

BRTC students with current ID cards will have access to all services, including book circulation, use of print and electronic resources, interlibrary loan, computer lab, WiFi connection and complete customer service.

Felix Goodson Library is located on Fulbright Avenue near the main entrance to the Williams campus.  Summer hours are 9am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.
