Three arrested in Hardy after allegedly skipping out on restaurant bill

SHARP COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Sharp County authorities arrested three people Thursday after they say they failed to pay for a meal.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Cozumel's Mexican Restaurant in Hardy called police after three people ordered $77 worth of food to-go and skipped out on the bill.

Authorities later spotted the vehicle in Hardy and arrested Danny Schmitz of Booneville, Missouri, Hailey Rice of Mokane, Missouri and Janelle Hollandsworth of Jefferson City, Missouri.

All three were charged with theft and possession of instrument of crime.
