SHARP COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Sharp County officials received a domestic abuse call Wednesday, May 18 after a man allegedly threatened multiple people with a shotgun.

Sharp County Deputies were dispatched after they were told Mark Wrench was threatening to kill his estranged wife. According to deputies, Mark Wrench went to Julia Wrench's home with a shotgun and pointed the gun in her face, threatening to kill her. When Ms. Wrench tried to push the shotgun away, she was hit several times in the head with the butt of the gun.  Ms. Wrench was also punched and kicked multiple times before Mark left the residence.

As Mr. Wrench was leaving, he told Ms. Wrench he was going to Ronald Biggs' house. After Mr. Wrench left, Ms. Wrench was able to call 911 and also call to warn Biggs.

When Mr. Wrench arrived at Biggs' home, he pointed the gun in Biggs' face. Biggs was able to knock the shotgun out of Mr. Wrench's hands and struck him several times, knocking him down.

Mark Wrench sustained injuries to his face and head and was air-lifted to Jonesboro, he was later transferred to the Med in Memphis in serious condition. Biggs was not injured in the incident, but Julia Wrench sustained cuts to her head and numerous abrasions.

The investigation also revealed that Mark Wrench is a convicted felon and shouldn't have been in possession of a firearm in the first place. A search warrant of his property turned up 11 more firearms.

The investigation is on-going, and charges against Mr. Wrench may be pending.
