New Statewide Bus Tour To Make Several Region 8 Stops.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Today marks the start of a statewide bus tour geared at promoting Arkansas' new tourist destinations.

A coalition of state tourism groups planned the "Destination: Arkansas" tour.  It will take executives from organizations like Heifer Project and the Clinton Library to cities across the state starting this morning.  The presidential libraryalong the Arkansas River is to open in mid-November next year.  Heifer Project is to open its new headquarters at Little Rock in 2005.

The bus tour will make stops in Russellville, Fort Smith, Fayetteville, Eureka Springs, Harrison, Mountain Home, Batesville, Jonesboro, Blytheville and West Memphis this week.  Next week it will stop in Pine Bluff, McGehee, El Dorado, Hot Springs and Hope.
