Local motorcycle club revved up to help Joplin victims

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - A local motorcycle club burned up the road to help others.

The Saints and Sinners Motorcycle Club of Paragould worked to raise donations to help the tornado victims of Joplin, Missouri.

Amber Shipmen has been a member of the club for two years and says helping their neighbors is just something they do.

"Anytime we have friends or family or anybody on Facebook that needs a helping hand we try to get together and do what we can to help," Shipmen said. "It's just heartbreaking to see the video and the footage of nothing left. I could not imagine a whole town wiped out and there's nothing for them. No food, no clothing, no house, no vehicle. Absolutely nothing," Shipmen said.

If you would like to help out, the club needs batteries, flashlights, soap, toothbrushes, bottled water and toilet paper.

The club will be collecting items tomorrow from 7a.m to noon.
