LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Three Region 8 men and juvenile face charges after investigators say they broke into a Black Rock residence and stole several items.
According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, a resident reported his property had been broken into and destroyed. The victim also reported several items had been stolen.
Deputies tracked a lead and found the suspects at a scrap yard in Randolph County. Deputies recovered several of the reported stolen items and the suspects were taken into custody.
Arrested were 21-year-old Franklin Carothers of Portia, 26-year-old Jonathan Gustafson of Delight, 30-year-old Derrick Mullen of Hoxie and a male juvenile. They're charged with residential burglary, breaking and entering, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, theft of recyclable material and theft of property.
All are being held at the Lawrence County Jail. Mullen and Carothers are both on probation.
