PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - Highway 412 just east of Paragould is now open again after crews spent several hours overnight cleaning up after two 18-wheelers collided.
The accident happened late Wednesday night when one truck was pulling out onto Highway 412 when another semi hit the truck.
According to an official with the Greene County Rescue Squad, the driver on one of the trucks had to be extracted from his vehicle and taken to the hospital. The other driver was unhurt in the accident.
The wreck ended up blocking the highway and spilling fuel on the road, but according to dispatch with the Greene County Sheriff's Department, the road is now clear and open again.
