JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – A level-3 sex offender is in the Craighead County Jail, accused of raping a Jonesboro woman.

On Sunday, June 5, officers were called to a home on West College.  According to the probable cause affidavit, when officers arrived they found a woman sitting on the porch crying uncontrollably.

The woman told officers a white man and an African-American teen entered her home and began asking, "Where's it at?  Just give it to me."  The woman said she didn't know the men and told them she didn't know what they were looking for.

The woman told officers the man hit her in the face, grabbed her around the neck, threw her onto a bed, and raped her.

After sexually assaulting her, the man stole $130 and two xanax pills says the victim.

She told the officers the man was wearing plaid shorts, a tank-top shirt and had a shaved head.  She also said the man had a "face tattoo on his left shoulder."  She said the teen was wearing a red hat and black shorts.  A short while later a patrolman located the two suspects matching the description near the victim's home.

The officer took Anthony Snider of Hoxie and the unidentified teen into custody.  According to the court documents, the victim identified Snider in a photo lineup.

According to the Arkansas Crime Information Center website, Snider is a level-3 sex offender.  He was convicted on two counts of first-degree statutory rape and two counts of second-degree statutory rape.
