MARKED TREE, AR (KAIT) - Poinsett County Prosecutor Jimmy Gazaway told Region 8 News Tiffany Hendrix will appear in court later this year.

Hendrix is charged with manslaughter in the death of 65-year-old Danny Moore.

According to the Marked Tree Police Department, Moore was found unresponsive in a local cemetery around 2:15p.m. June 4. Police say he was transported to a local hospital and then to the burn unit at the Med in Memphis upon the discovery of 2nd degree burns to his lower body. Moore died at the Med approximately 12 hours later as a result of the burns.

His body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab where the burns on his body were said to be caused by contact with a hot liquid. The burns were labeled as "scalding" type burns.

Marked Tree Police tell Region 8 News during the course of the investigation evidence pointed to Hendrix. Bond said she's a Certified Nursing Assistant.

It was determined that Hendrix had given Moore a whirlpool bath approximately 3 hours before he was discovered in the cemetery.

Region 8 News will continue to track this story and bring you any updates as soon as they become available.
