JACKSONPORT, AR (AP) - The campground and boat ramp that were damaged in flooding at Jacksonville State Park are reopening.
The park says the facilities are to be open for use on Friday.
Floodwaters have receded from the park, which is near the confluence of the Black and White rivers. The park's grounds needed a month of work to make road repairs, clean mud off campground picnic tables and ensure electric connections were working.
The 1872 courthouse at the park, which serves as a museum and visitors center, remained open through the flooding except for a brief time in early May.
Facilities in the picnic area, swim beach and pavilion are still being repaired but could be open by July 4.
