Jonesboro's 'Project 365' Clean-Up Campaign Postponed

October 23, 2003 - Posted at 11: 28 a.m. CDT

JONESBORO, AR - The planned Project 365 neighborhood clean-up campaign scheduled for this Saturday (Oct. 25) has been postponed for two weeks due to the threat of inclimate weather this weekend in Jonesboro.

City Councilwoman and project coordinator Judy Furr told K8 News the event has been re-scheduled for November 8.  Volunteers plan to clean-up the area at Forrest and Woodrow streets in north Jonesboro.

Project 365 is an anti-crime neighborhood clean-up campaign which usually targets high crime areas, and is part of the Community Oriented Policing & Problem Solving program (COPPS).
