4th grader with Lymphoma, back home doing well

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – The family of a child diagnosed with cancer is sending out a "Thank You" to everyone involved in helping with their son's recovery.

The family of Evan Rose sent this release to Region 8 News; "As we express our gratitude for the love, prayers and support from all of you during Evan's cancer diagnosis and treatment; we want each of you to know that there is no one in the world more cherished and appreciated than the one who lightens the burden of another.  Each and every one of you are "the one" to our family.  Thank you.  Cliff, Lorrie, Sydney and Evan Rose.  KEEP THE FAITH."

According to Lorrie, Evan is at home, in remission, and doing well.

Evan is a fourth grader from Westside Elementary School who is fighting Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was diagnosed in January after he had his tonsils removed. Evan finished treatment at St. Jude Children's Medical Hospital.

Region 8 News has covered several events that were organized to help the family with financial and other needs through treatment.
