Holly Bobo's family asks for answers, prayers

(WMC-TV) - For the first time since Holly Bobo disappeared, the family of the 20-year-old missing nursing student made a plea for answers Thursday.

Karen Bobo wears stickers with her daughter's picture on them.  She keeps a photo of Holly Bobo with her.

"Sundays are the hardest days because we were together, our whole family, all day long," said Karen Bobo.  "On Sunday we were doing family things."

It has been more than two months since Holly Bobo disappeared from her Decatur County home.  Her brother Clint Bobo was the last person to see her.

"There's a new normal, and it's like a full-time job," he said.  "Going to school full-time, all that has stopped.  Now all I do every day is watch for my sister."

Clint Bobo told investigators he saw his sister walk into the dense woods behind their home with a man dressed in camouflage.

"It's the hardest thing we have ever been through," said Clint Bobo.  "We're just surviving."

The family is still searching, handing out flyers looking for Holly Bobo.  A massive search with thousands of volunteers did not find the nursing student or enough clues to let investigators know where she is.

The TBI, FBI, Marshals Service and local law enforcement are still in Decatur County running down leads.

Karen Bobo had a message for her daughter.

"Holly, we love you," she said.  "We miss you so much and we'll never give up looking for you until you are home safely with us."

Holly Bobo's father Dana Bobo also had a message for his daughter's abductor.

"To the abductor, whoever has our daughter," he said, "I would like to please let her go and please let her come home."

The reward for the arrest and conviction of Holly Bobo's abductor has increased to $85,000.  If you know anything, call the TBI Hotline at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
