PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) – Three men face multiple charges after they were arrested for stealing and selling chainsaws.
According to the Greene County Sheriff's Department, on the night of June 17th, 31-year-old James Wesley Dillard broke into NEA Turf on Highway 49S and stole six Husqvarna chainsaws valued at more than $1400.
Investigators say 39-year-old Anthony Epley and Mauricio Resendez then sold the chainsaws for $260.
Dillard is charged with commercial burglary and theft of property. Resendez is charged with misdemeanor theft by receiving.
Epley, who is also accused of stealing two guns from two different pawn shops within the past week, is also charged with felony theft by receiving as well as two counts of theft of property and two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
