HIGHLAND, AR (KAIT) - A tip concerning fraudulent use of prescription drugs lands four people behind bars in Sharp County Friday.
After receiving the tip, Highland Police and Sharp County Sheriff's Officers obtained a search warrant for a residence where they found what appeared to be a dealer selling prescription drugs using forged identities.
Names and drivers license information was on a computer as well as names and addresses of out-of-state doctors where some of the prescriptions were obtained.
Sharp County Sheriff Mark Counts said the raid brought in a pretty good haul. $600 in cash and over $10,000 in prescription drugs were found at the residence.
Formal charges are expected to be filed soon.
