Police searching for bank robber

MARION, AR (KAIT) – Marion police are searching for a man who robbed the Regions Bank.

According to investigators, the man robbed the bank Saturday morning.

The man is described as a heavy set white male, weighing approximately 300 pounds.  He has dark hair with a bald spot in the back and a receding hairline.

Police say he entered the bank around 9:15am and handed the teller a bag and a note demanding money.  He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was seen leaving the bank in a black Nissan pick-up truck, two-door extended cab.
