Jurors to watch Anthony Sowell's videotaped questioning

The public will soon be hearing from accused serial killer Anthony Sowell.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutors plan to play hours of videotape taken when cops questioned Sowell about the murders.

Sources tell 19 Action News that during the interview, Sowell never confessed.

Investigators tried hard to get inside Sowell's mind, questioning Sowell for several hours according to multiple sources.

Sowell didn't confess to the bodies found on his Imperial Avenue property either. Instead, he spoke in vague terms mentioning dreams about bad things happening to women.

Something else that stood out to people familiar with the interviews, Sowell stayed it cool and polite.

In opening statements of the trial, Cuyahoga County prosecutors said a detective and Sowell chit-chatted. Then police suddenly changed the topic to bodies.

The jury was told expect to see Sowell react with a jolt.

Anthony Sowell is accused of murdering 11 Cleveland area women. Their bodies were all discovered at his home on Imperial Avenue.
