BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Police say they have arrested a sex offender without incident for failing to register his address with authorities.

According to the Baxter County Sheriff's Office, 24-year-old Vincent Lee Michael Hatfield was arrested for failing to comply with sex offender requirements by moving from his registered address in Mountain Home without notifying authorities.

Hatfield was arrested after an anonymous tip was called in, police say; his name and photo was posted on the Most Wanted section of the Baxter County Sheriff's Website two days prior.

Hatfield was charged with failure to meet sex offender requirements, which is a Class C Felony. At the time of this report, he was booked at the Baxter County Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bond pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court on July 14.

Although Hatfield was convicted of crimes as a juvenile, police say he is still required to register as a sex offender as an adult.
