FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas has raised $6.5 million and
increased its membership in its fundraising Razorback Foundation by
20 percent during the past 18 months.
School officials announced Monday that the increased revenue
raises the annual support of Arkansas' athletic programs through
the foundation to more than $18 million, which is ninth in the
Southeastern Conference in total annual revenue.
The new income and membership was raised as part of the school's
Answer the Call initiative, a decade-long fundraising plan
announced last year. The first phase of the plan included an
updated seating equity plan for home football games at both
Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville and War Memorial Stadium in
It led to 2,687 new foundation members, more than 18,000 phone
calls and more than 3,900 seat selection appointments.
