Central Arkansas adds five players to football roster

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - Central Arkansas has added five newcomers to

its football program, including two transfers from Southeastern

Conference schools.

Former Arkansas kicker Eddie Camara and Mississippi receiver

Jesse Grandy are among the newcomers. Also included are Air Force

freshman receiver Al Lasker, Nebraska-Omaha defensive lineman T.J.

Randall and Olive Branch, Miss., defensive lineman and deep snapper

Parker Carpenter.

Camara is a redshirt freshman who signed with the Razorbacks

last year before being beaten out by Zach Hocker. He was released

from his scholarship in May.

Grandy played two seasons at Ole Miss as a return specialist and

wide receiver. The junior was third in the SEC and 10th nationally

with a 14.7-yard punt return average as a sophomore and was eighth

in the SEC in kickoff returns with a 20.9 average.
