LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A Black Rock man is behind bars after police say ran from them just before the meth he was cooking was finished.
According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Jerrod Rainwater was threatening to harm himself and someone at the home called 9-1-1. When police arrived, Rainwater took off but was caught a short time later.
When police arrived at the home, they found a working meth lab and said the meth had almost finished cooking when police arrived on scene.
Rainwater is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture, and possession of pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture meth. He's currently in the Lawrence County Jail.
