LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - U.S. Rep. Tim Griffin has pulled in the most money over the past three months among Arkansas' four congressmen as they prepare for next year's election.
The Republican congressman on Friday reported that he raised more than $330,000 between April 1 and June 30. He represents the 2nd congressional district in central Arkansas.
Democratic Rep. Mike Ross had the second best quarter and pulled in $286,572. He represents the 4th congressional district in southern Arkansas.
Republican Rep. Rick Crawford reported raising $156,663 during the quarter and Republican Rep. Steve Womack raised $104,750. Crawford represents the 1st District in east Arkansas and Womack represents northwest Arkansas in the 3rd district.
So far, none of the state's four congressmen face any major party opponents in next year's election.
