From Arkansas Tech University

Arkansas Tech alumni and friends are invited to help the Wonder Boys and the Golden Suns begin a new era of athletics excellence in the Great American Conference by joining the Green and Gold Club for 2011-12.

Green and Gold membership is open to any Arkansas Tech fan and provides the university with critical auxiliary funding for its 10 intercollegiate athletic programs.

Green and Gold members receive a variety of benefits based upon giving levels.

Benefits can include tickets to regular season home athletic events and admission to hospitality areas at home football and basketball games.

Tech, along with five other institutions from Arkansas and three from Oklahoma, will begin competition in the NCAA Division II Great American Conference this fall.

The University of Arkansas-Monticello, East Central University, Harding University, Henderson State University, Ouachita Baptist University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Southern Arkansas University and Southwestern Oklahoma State University are the other charter members of the GAC.

The Wonder Boys and the Golden Suns will compete for GAC championships in football, volleyball, women's cross country, men's basketball, women's basketball, baseball, softball, women's tennis, men's golf and women's golf.
