Almost 9,000 strollers being recalled

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Phil & Ted USA and the Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling over 9,000 strollers due to the risk of injury from brake failure.

According to the CPSC, the Explorer and Hammerhead strollers are being recalled because the brake mechanism can fail on the strollers.

There have been eight incidents reported world-wide, but no injuries have been reported.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the strollers and contact Phil & Ted USA for instructions on how to obtain an upgraded brake assembly.
