Recipe from Corie Stern of Normandy Park, Wash.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes

Johnsonville Bratwurst (or equally delicious bratwurst!)
One small white onion
One pear
One apple (Granny Smith apples would be good)
2 tabs olive oil
3 new potatoes

In one large heavy duty casserole dish, cut the apples and pears and potatoes into large wedges.

Quarter a small white onion that has been peeled and the core of the onion removed.

Generously put olive oil in the casserole dish.

Par boil on low the bratwurst for about 10 minutes till thoroughly cooked and then drain the brat's of the water.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Add the onions, apples, pears, new potatoes and bratwurst.

Mix with hands to coat all ingredients with the olive oil prior to putting in the oven for about 375 degrees.

Check the bratwurst in about 12 minutes and stir with a wooden spoon to evenly brown.


Servings: 3-4 servings

Comments: Excellent with your favorite mustard and crisp green salad of your liking!

    JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Two armed robberies have happened in Jonesboro overnight. According to Lt. Steve McDaniel, two black men robbed a customer and clerk at gunpoint at the Kum & Go on Southwest Dr.
    According to Lieutenant Steve McDaniel, two men robbed a customer and clerk at gunpoint at the Kum & Go on Southwest Dr. and Culberhouse Rd. around 2:30 Monday morning. Not too far away, the Country Mart on Southwest Dr. was also hit around 11 p.m. Sunday. And, on Saturday, two men also robbed Firehouse Subs on Southwest Dr. at 10 p.m. Saturday.

    LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - From the overpass to west of Hoxie, you can see construction equipment on Hwy 67 as the roadbed moves closer to linking up with the highway from Little Rock. On Hwy 226 from
    Mild winters and hot dry Springs and Summers are not great for farmers; but for road construction it's quite the opposite.

    From the 63 overpass at Hoxie you can see the construction on 67 North, coming closer every day.
