Over 150,000 pogo sticks being recalled

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling over 150,000 pogo sticks because of a fall and laceration hazard.

According to the CPSC, the Brave Sports Disney Branded pogo sticks are being recalled due to the rubber bottom tip can wear out and pose a fall hazard. Also the end caps on the handlebars can come off, which expose sharp edges and pose a laceration hazard.

Bravo and the CPSC has received 82 reports of the bottom rubber tip wearing out, including 5 injury reports. One 9 year old suffered a skull fracture and chipped tooth.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the pogo sticks and contact Bravo Sports for a full refund.
