NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) - Paperboard and packaging manufacturer RockTenn is moving some operations from St. Louis and Chicago to Gwinnett County and adding 500 jobs there.
The Norcross-based company said Thursday it will make a $5 million capital investment in its Gwinnett County operations.
RockTenn now employs more than 1,100 people in Georgia.
RockTenn says the expansion will create jobs in accounting, finance, information technology, procurement and supply chain operations.
RockTenn now has operations in Norcross, Lithia Springs, Columbus, Duluth, Hartwell, Covington, Atlanta, Augusta, College Park, Lithonia and Marietta.
