Drugs worth thousands found in a Searcy man’s apartment

SEARCY, AR (KAIT)-  A Searcy man is behind bars after police find several drugs and a gun during the execution of a search warrant.

On Wednesday, officers from the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force, Searcy Police Department and White County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at an apartment on 401 East Park in Searcy.  According to police, officers found nearly 40 grams of meth with a street value of almost $4,000.  In addition officers found 8 ounces of suspected marijuana, Hydrocodone tablets, a .22 caliber assault-type pistol and drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested Troy Lennard Glenn, 42, of Searcy for varying degrees of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs and firearms and maintaining a drug premises within 1000 feet of a daycare center.

Glenn is being held in the White County Detention Center, his bond was set at $25,000.
