ARCare Clinic kicks off their first Kids Fest with games, fun and food

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - ARCare Clinic will be hosting their first ever Kids Fest on Saturday, August 13.

The celebration will begin at 10 a.m. and the first 200 kids will receive a free back pack.

Advanced Practice Nurse Amy Johnson said this festival is all about reaching out to the community and games, food, fun and a little learning will help make this a great event.

"The need for education is great in this community. We're in a prime community for some of the under-served people and it is in our heart to reach out to them and serve them any way we can," Johnson said.

The Craighead County DARE Officer will be making fingerprint cards and there will be a fire truck there as well.

The Kids Fest will run until 1 p.m. at the ARCare Clinic on Church Street in Jonesboro.
