Sheen takes batting practice at Chase Field August 16, 2011 at 12:45 PM CDT - Updated June 25 at 2:56 AM PHOENIX (AP) - Charlie Sheen got some batting practice then asked for ice for his elbow before an Arizona Diamondbacks-New York Mets baseball game at Chase Field. Sheen later watched Sunday's game from a suite. Pictures showed his right elbow wrapped with a bandage. Sheen had a pre-existing elbow injury that flared up, Diamondbacks President Derrick Hall said Monday. It was the team's understanding that Sheen is trying to get back into shape for a possible sequel to the "Major League" movies, Diamondbacks spokesman Casey Wilcox said. However, Sheen publicist Larry Solters said he wasn't aware of any "Major League" sequel but he didn't necessarily rule it out. Former major league player Todd Zeile had asked if he and Sheen could take batting practice. They hit balls for 30 minutes before the stadium gates opened. Copyright 2011 The Associated Press.
