JONESBORO, Ark. (ASU) – Director of Athletics Dr. Dean Lee and Associate Athletic Director for External Operations and Director of the Red Wolf Club Doug Doggett have announced some restructuring of the Red Wolf Club on the heels of its recent staff expansion.
In addition to adding Tim Padgett as Director of Corporate Sales with the Red Wolf Club, Doggett has also announced some realignment of staff responsibilities including Brad Bobo, the former Director of Corporate Sales taking the new title as Director of Broadcast, Licensing, and New Media.
By working with our media partners, Bobo has been able to establish a statewide radio network to broadcast all football and men's basketball games. Bobo has also secured agreements with broadcast and cable television networks across the state for rebroadcast of home games and coaches' shows. Through his expertise and relationship with Collegiate Licensing Company, Bobo will concentrate on increasing the consumer base for Red Wolves merchandise and naming rights. His involvement with New Media will be to focus on social media to increase awareness and provide offers to fans and create instant news updates for the Red Wolves faithful, while continuing to provide video content to statewide media outlets and AStateRedWolves.com.
Brad Pietz, Assistant Athletic Director for Development, is taking on additional duties to his role in fundraising for the athletic department by becoming the director of a newly developed call center. The call center will employ a number of call center representatives who are knowledgeable and passionate about ASU athletics. The objective is to generate new season ticket sales and Red Wolf Club memberships.
"What I've found in visiting with fans across the state is that many of them are interested in supporting our programs they just haven't been asked or are unsure how," said Doggett. "With this restructuring, we plan to increase our fan base and increase our support. We will make no apologize for aggressively pursuing every opportunity that will help advance our programs and making sure everyone is fully aware of the need and the avenues they can use to support the Red Wolves."
