FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) -- Authorities in St. Francis County Saturday said they are searching for a man who stole an undisclosed amount of money from the 1st National Bank of Eastern Arkansas. According to a news release, a white male entered the bank near Interstate 40 in Forrest City, handed the teller a note demanding money and left with multiple $1 bills.
Police said the suspect is a white male, 5'9" tall, weighs 150 pounds with brown hair coming down past the collar in the back. Police said the man, believed to be in his 30's, also had a full beard.
According to the release, witnesses reported the man leaving in an older model green Nissan Maxima, four doors with a Tennessee license plate. The man reportedly left heading north towards I-40.
