PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - Life House Ministries, located in Paragould, recently received a grant from the Arkansas Right to Life. They money received by the ministry will be used to help raise awareness in Region 8 residents.

Charitti Sullinger, board chairman for the Life House Ministries, said the unveiling of a billboard that promotes adoption in Northeast Arkansas is just the beginning. The grant totaled over $6,000, leaving money for important promotional items as well.

"With this grant, we can offer things like brochures, videos, educational and workshops," Sullinger said.

Kevin and Danielle Edgar have adopted two children and who are on the new Life House billboard. Kevin said adoption is an option more people need to consider.

"There are more children than people have homes. People need to step up and if you're considering adoption, do it. It's the best thing I've ever done," Kevin Edgar said.

The billboard is located off of Highway 49 in Paragould across the street from Focus Bank.
