WASHINGTON, DC (KAIT) – The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling about 2,700 bicycles with child seats, because of fall and crash hazards.

According to the CPSC, the Weehoo iGo Bicycle Pedal Trailers receiver on the trailer's seat post hitch can crack and cause the trailer to detach, posing a fall hazard to the child in the seat.

There has been one report of the trailer's receiving hitch cracking while in use, but no injuries were reported.
