Group gets preview of St. Bernards Health and Wellness Center

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - St. Bernards employees invited a few friends over for a sneak peek of the Health and Wellness Center currently under construction.

President and CEO of St. Bernards Healthcare, Chris Barber, says they've been working on this center for many years now, "It's finally becoming a reality." Barber said, "We're on the home stretch of our construction project. We're extremely excited about it."

The Wellness Center will include cardiac rehab, physical therapy, sports performance, and even an aquatic center to name just a few of the many things the facility will contain.

Barber, "St. Bernards has been involved in this community for over one hundred and eleven years, now. Our mission is to provide Christ like healing to the community through education, treatment and health services."

Barber says they feel this facility and the things they will be offering to the community are proactive and help meet a need they feel is out there. "It's just so exciting. We've talked for many years about this dream and to see it come to pass is outstanding and I certainly feel the public is going to enjoy it."

The Wellness Center will also have a diabetes program and weight loss center to name a couple of more things that will be available.
