Harding Men's Soccer hosts Lyon on Thursday

Harding men's soccer returns home after a four-game road trip to meet Lyon College at 5 p.m. on Thursday. Live video and live stats will be available on HardingSports.com.


* Harding enters the game 3-4-1 overall and coming off a pair of 1-0 road losses to Christian Brothers and John Brown. The Bisons won once on the four-game trip, a 3-2 victory at Delta State.

* Harding has scored eight goals in its first eight games and surrendered 10. After eight games last season, Harding had scored six goals and allowed 19. The Bisons have goals by seven different players this season.

* Harding was ranked No. 8 in the most recent NSCAA Division II South Region poll.

* Harding coach Jeremy Bishop was the head coach at Lyon from 2002-07.

* Lyon enters the game 3-4-0 overall and 2-2-0 in road games. The Scots are coming off a 3-1 home loss to Delta State on Tuesday.

* Lyon is a member of the NAIA TranSouth Conference and is located in Batesville, Ark. The Scots are coached by Mitch McKay, who is in his second season.

* This will be the eighth meeting between Harding and Lyon, with the Scots holding a 4-3 advantage. Lyon won 3-0 last season in Batesville.
