Police department to hold poker run to promote gun safety

BAY, AR (KAIT)- Bay Police Department will hold a special poker run to raise awareness of gun safety.

On Saturday, September 24th the police department will host a poker run with the proceeds going towards two child gun safety classes.

Tommy Cole with Bay Police tell Region 8 News that the classes are very important to teach children what to do if they find a gun and who to tell about it.

The poker run is open to the public.  Admission to the post poker run event is $5 per vehicle.
