JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Arkansas State University professors got some good advice on Friday about new online techniques.
The third annual Online and Distance Educational Regional Conference took place at Arkansas State. Around 100 people attended a variety of different seminars on a variety of topics.
Henry Torres works at ASU and said with the Internet growing and online classes increasing, teachers are working together to exchange information about what works and what doesn't. "A lot of faculty teach face to face and it's very easy to engage students that way," said Torres, "But, when you go online there's a bigger challenge."
The seminar went from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
