Missouri man arrested for copper theft

CARUTHERSVILLE, AR (KAIT) - A Missouri man is behind bars for allegedly stealing copper.

According to Caruthersville Police, a man reported that several items were stolen from his job site at the 1800 block of Truman Blvd. in Caruthersville.

Police were later notified that an unidentified male was attempting to sell the missing items. The 26-year old man was later arrested in connection with the stolen copper.

He was taken to the Pemiscot County Justice Center and is being held in lieu of $15,000 cash only bond pending filing of formal charges.
