JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Officers traded in their uniforms Saturday morning for slacks and a collared shirt, all to help sick children get a wish.
The Jonesboro chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police held their 3rd annual Make-A-Wish Charity Golf Tournament at The Links.
They teed off to help sick children get wishes through the Make-A-Wish Foundation by raising money with this charity golf tournament.
"Anything we do is to help out our members and to help out the children," said Tony Zaffarano, FOP President, "The children are our future."
Zaffarano said the officers really enjoy getting out play golf and helping out the children by helping them to get wishes. They teed off at 8:30 this morning.
