Denmark introduces "fat tax" on certain foods

DENMARK (KAIT) - Over the weekend, the country of Denmark introduced the world's first fat food tax.

The tax adds to the cost of foods with more than 2.3% saturated fats.  For example, a small package of butter costs 50 cents more and a bag of potato chips cost 12 cents extra after the tax.
