About 2,500 step stools being recalled

WASHINGTON, DC (KAIT) – The Consumer Product Safety Commission along with Ballard Designs is recalling about 2,500 step stools because of a fall hazard.

According to the CPSC, Ballard Designs is recalling its "Stafford" step stools because the plastic tabs on the feet of the stools can cause the stools to become unstable, posing a fall hazard.

Ballard Designs has received 6 reports of stools that were not stable, including two reports of falls with minor injuries.
