TYRONZA, AR (KAIT) --After being closed for most of the summer, the Tyronza Library has re-opened.
Volunteer librarian Emily Glover said the small library has suffered from lack of volunteers, and money.
Glover was recently informed by the mayor that a piece of property on the main street is going to be the home of a new library. The property was formerly part of a funeral home that burned a year ago. Glover said they are trying to form a board to develop the library into a 501(c)(3) non-profit. "That," Glover said. "Would open many doors to us to get grants and other funding sources."
The current library is located at 122 Junction street right next to the Tyronza Police Department.
