HARRISBURG, MO (AP) - The father of a central Missouri construction worker missing since mid-September fears foul play in his son's disappearance.
The Columbia Daily Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/pIPoZY ) 34-year-old Charlie Bell, of Harrisburg, was last seen the afternoon of Sept. 15 on his red motorcycle near the Boone County town. Bell had told a colleague he was heading to Columbia to run errands.
On Sunday, nearly 100 people searched the county's rural highways for any sign of Bell or the motorcycle. His father, also named Charlie Bell, says he believes they've ruled out the possibility that his son left on his own or had an accident. The father says that leaves only the option that someone caused Bell to disappear.
Bell is married and has three children. Boone County authorities call the disappearance suspicious.
